Aquatic Therapy

Cornerstone has Bluffton’s only Aquatic Therapy Center. Aquatic Therapy is a very useful tool in returning patients to their normal activities. Our Aquatics Program is used by a variety of patients. Post-surgical, post-stroke, and athletes of all ages in return to sport. Patients who cannot exercise on land benefit greatly from the water.

Only Licensed Therapists

It is very important to know the credentials of the clinicians involved in your care. Oftentimes, physical therapy practices will use technicians or aides to assist or perform your treatment. Technicians and aides are non-licensed providers, meaning that they have not had formal education in providing physical therapy services. At Cornerstone Physical Therapy and Wellness, we do not employ technicians or aides. Rather, each clinician is state-licensed and has completed a specialized degree of physical therapy study at an accredited college or university.
